Gone - Sandra's Voice

There was a time that I  was following a blog written by a grandmother about the trials and tribulations of assisting her daughter regain custody of her three children unlawfully taken from her and hidden from her in another country.  My heart ached for them, but I always looked forward to the next update the grandmother would post.

The last update was in 2011 and I often wonder if the mother regained custody, has she been able to see them or talk to them, are the children happy ?

Why I am cranky today

Imagine falling off into a deep peaceful sleep and being woke up at regular intervals by your sleep mate.  Let's remember that this little entity does not understand that you don't want to play and you need sleep in order to be a productive member of society the next day.  I love little Xena to death, but she will get to peacefully slumber during the day while I fight to smile and pretend that I am doing wonderful.  I don't like having my hair pulled and I understand she just wants to be with me and get as close as possible.  In my sleep, I must be mumbling - go give Daddy kisses in an effort to distract her.  It does not always work.

Hopefully I will have a productive day and end it all with a trip to Never, Neverland.
